10 Speed Blue Mixte Market Bike

Found in the back of Silicon Valley Bike Coalition shed, this beautiful Peugeot needed lots of parts. 

The frame waited until the right front fork was available. 

The white front fork came from the 'Perfect French Bike' bike.

The handebars were from a big pile in the Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition shed and fit perfectly. I've never seen other one like it.

The frame had the bottom bracket and crank. Notice the rear mixte brake.

That says it all.

It's Red, Fast and Has an Odd Kickstand

This was a quick cleanup. I like Centurions since they set up like Raleighs.

The kickstand is on the rear downtube by the derailleur.

The graphics are classic and see how the head tube is detailed.

It came from Ebay as a frame. Fortunately the crank was intact.

This mid sixties Peugeot came from the Silicon Valley Bike Coalition and

needed new cables and handlebar tape. 

The brake hoods are in great shape

So the bottom bracket kept coming loose so I went to Ebay for a new frame.

While it was apart the bike got lots of upgraded parts.

Raleigh Green 60's Mixte Florena

This Raleigh is like a truck, a British delivery van.

brake levers, rounded ends, others called stabbers


Beautiful power train. Cottered cranks like Peugeot.

 This bike came from the Silicon Valley Bike Coalition.

The frame was in really nice shape and I liked the deco inspired graphics.
